Siller House Fairfax, VT 1980

This home was designed and detailed to be owner built. The first segment constructed was a saltbox-shaped wood-heated  living core with an integral insulated glass greenhouse. It was structured with local roughsawn lumber and built-up beams which could be assembled by two people. Over the years additional space has been added by the owners to the high side of the saltbox, including a mud room, additional bedrooms and a garage.
